Touche Éclat Blur Primer is one of the two products recently added to the YSL’s Touche Éclat line.
The other product is Touche Éclat Blur Perfector which I also received to review from Influenster.
This primer has gold flakes in it. You can clearly see them in the bottle.
But once you blend it into the skin, you won’t notice the gold flakes.
Plus, they will be covered by the foundation after all.
I read the review of other users and wait a few minutes before putting on the foundation.
It gives me an ultra soothing finish on the skin without feeling heavy.
I only need just a tiny amount for my entire face. It extends the wear of my makeup a little bit.
As we know, Silicone Primer provides a smooth base for foundation to achieve the flawless look.
It acts as fillers for fine lines and pores, but nothing will make you pore-less, don’t expect that.
I have quite sensitive skin though. Generally, I try to avoid Silicone Primer because it may clog pores and cause breakouts IF you do not clean your skin properly and thoroughly.
But I have no problem with this one. It didn’t break me out.
Touche Éclat Blur Perfector is a silicone based Balm.
It feels very velvety, similar to the feel of primer.
It does not feel greasy and has a slight blurring effect on pores but not a dramatic result.
The packaging is simply gorgeous! YSL is known for their packaging design.
These 2 product packagings are luxuriously beautiful.
I was confused when I first received this product.
I tried applying it as a primer under my foundation, but not actually work.
Then I keep it in my purse for touch up, It feels better than the powder which can look cakey on dry skin.
When you apply, it might feel a little bit waxy and took several minutes to become smooth and powdery.
However, the sponge cannot keep in the compact.
A little black pouch has a separate compartment for the compact and applicator.
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Thank you.
