Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette
When it first came out, I thought it was kind of pointless. I didn’t need it. But I was wrong!
It is a lovely small palette with every color you need to create an everyday neutral eye.
You can also take it to a night-time look with the darker shades.
It’s hard to find matte colors that are actually pigmented and not chalky or powdery.
Urban Decay makes it super easy with this palette.
This set has 6 x 0.05 oz. Eye shadows in
– Venus (soft, off-white demi-matte)
Venus is a yellowish white color that has a subtle sheen to it.
It is lovely for highlighting the brow bone, as well as the inner corner of the eye.
– Foxy (very light yellow/white matte)
Foxy is mild and yellowish. It is smooth, a beautiful lid color for me.
– Walk of Shame (very light nude matte)
Walk of shame is a matte peach shade.
– Naked2 (taupe matte)
Naked 2 is my favorite. It is a beautiful cool toned taupe, a mix of brown and gray.
– Faint (warm, dusty brown matte)
Faint is a dark brown that is a bit on the warmer side. A very nice crease color.
– Crave (deepest, darkest brown/black matte).
Crave is a very pigmented black eye shadow.
It has everything you need for the perfect neutral matte eye. Best of all, the slim package is ideal for travel.
If you are a makeup beginner or someone who just wants something quick and easy to use for every day.
This palette is for you.
