Revlon ColorBurst Matte Lip Balm in Elusive and Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm in Ingenue

I’m a big fan of the similarly packaged Revlon Kissable Balm Stains and was curious to see how these compared.
So I decided to buy both two new formulas.

It is a medium, warm pink with yellow undertones and a satin-matte finish.
It has mostly full-color coverage.
It becomes a bit pinker than it is in the tube and makes my lips a bit dry.
It is highly pigmented and lasts a long time. Exfoliating is a must before applying this balm.

The slightly minty flavor is sweet but not overwhelming.
The scent of these newly formulated ones is exactly the same as the others.
If you don’t like that minty smell/feel, then you won’t like this.
If the fragrance doesn’t bother you, and you are looking for a matte lipstick to try, this might be a good one for you.

It is a peachy brown with warm undertones and a soft, frosted sheen.
It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque pigmentation.
Ingénue is the perfect nude shade for my NC30 skin tone. I think it would be universally flattering.

The formula is creamy, light and feels good on the lips. It is very moisturizing.
Compared to Revlon’s original balm stains, this is much slicker.
It is somewhere between the original balm stains and the lip butter.
